Base Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty

Your new equipment leaves our factory with an American Standard Heating & Air conditioning base limited warranty that represents our confidence in the quality of our home comfort solutions. Base limited warranty terms can be found in your Owner’s Manual.

Registered Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty

For additional coverage, products installed on or after May 1, 2009, are eligible for Registered Limited Warranty terms if the product is registered within 60 days of installation. Registration can be completed online or by calling 1-800-554-8005.

If the product is not registered within 60 days of installation American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning’s Base Limited Warranty terms will apply.

Registered Limited Warranty Transfer Option

Now you can have even more peace of mind knowing that your reliable American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning system may help you sell your home, with the purchase of a Registered Limited Warranty transfer option*. During the Registered Limited Warranty period you have the opportunity to purchase this transferability option, which allows your Registered Limited Warranty to be transferred to a subsequent homeowner. This transferability option may be purchased (1) during the 60 day Product Registration Period, or (2) within the Registered Limited Warranty period, up to ninety (90) days following the sale of your home. Transferability may be a very attractive option for prospective home buyers. To purchase, call 800-554-8005.

*The Registered Limited Warranty transferability option is available for a $59 fee during the initial 60 day Product Registration period. If purchased outside of the Product Registration Period, a $99 fee will apply; however, this option is available up to ninety (90) days following the sale of your home. Transferability restrictions may vary by state.

Optional Extended Warranty

A limited warranty is just that — limited and finite. That's why we offer extended warranties. An extended warranty protects your investment for the long run, and it’s a small price to pay for your peace of mind. Your independent American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning Dealer can help you find the extended warranty that best fits your needs, including:

• Option to purchase coverage in five (5) or ten (10)-year increments* to cover parts only, labor plus (for registered products) or parts and labor for the duration of the agreement. The option to purchase coverage on equipment that has been installed for less than 5 years is also available (some restrictions apply).
• Fully transferable to the new owner if property is sold.
• Built-in product replacement advantage.

Please note that routine maintenance is required as recommended in the owner's manual to ensure proper performance of the equipment. Repairs that are required due to lack of routine maintenance are not covered by the American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning Extended Warranty Agreement.
